Steve Lyons, Director of Research & Writing
Steve is the Research Director of The Natural History Museum. As a cultural historian, theorist, and core member of Not An Alternative, his writing has recently appeared in e-flux journal, Society & Space, Journal of Curatorial Studies, Museum Activism (Routledge, 2019), and The Routledge Companion to Contemporary Art, Visual Culture, and Climate Change (Routledge, 2021). After completing his PhD in Art History at Concordia University (2018), he held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh’s Humanities Center and CUNY Graduate Center’s Center for Place, Culture, and Politics.
