We are looking forward to providing the keynote address for Moore College of Art and Design’s Summer Symposium on Scales, Impact and Inclusion in Socially-Engaged Art! More information below:
The symposium will focus on selected case studies from local, national and international contexts that highlight socially-engaged art from multiple vantage points. Through panel discussions and site visits, participants will explore the role that questions of scale have on the ability of socially-engaged art practices to impact communities.
The Symposium will feature a keynote address from Roberto Bedoya, The Natural History Museum /Not An Alternative and a day of programming at Taller Puertorriqueño, with multiple site visits to Philadelphia community arts organizations. This is the 3rd annual In/Out Symposium co-convened by Mural Arts Philadelphia and Moore College of Art & Design. This event is produced with support from the Hemera Foundation.
